On July 26 I was contacted by the WordPress team regarding a security vulnerability that was detected in GEO my WP. Because of that, GEO my WP plugin is temporarily closed on the WordPress plugin directory.
Since then, I have released a new version of GEO my WP ( v4.5 ) with a fix to the vulnerability in question as well as other security updates. I uploaded the new version to the WordPress plugins directory and I am now waiting for the WordPress team to review and approve it, with the hope that they will release the plugin ASAP.
Meanwhile, you can download GEO my WP v4.5, which includes the vulnerability fix from here and upload it manually to your site. You can find the change log of version 4.5 on GEO my WPs GitHub page.
Please note that this vulnerability only affects GEO my WP core plugin. It does not affect any of its premium exetension or our other 3rd party extensions ( Gravity Geolcoation, Formidable Geolocation, WP Job Manager Geolocation, etc... ).
